Harry Potter non ha trascorso delle belle vacanze. Non solo ha dovuto subire la dispotica zia Petunia, il prepotente zio Vernon e il loro terrore per le sue doti magiche, ma sembra che anche i suoi migliori amici lo abbiano dimenticato. Dobby, un elfo domestico, lo avverte dell'enorme pericolo che lo attende al suo ritorno alla Scuola di Magia e di Stregoneria di Hogwards. Dopo aver superato una serie di imprevisti ed ostacoli, Harry riesce a tornare ad Hogwarts ed affrontare la forza oscura che mette in pericolo la sua amata scuola.

Forced to spend his summer holidays with his muggle relations, Harry Potter gets a real shock when he gets a surprise visitor: Dobby the house-elf, who warns Harry Potter against returning to Hogwarts, for terrible things are going to happen.
